Dr. Kerstin Engels worked at hte Hans-Bredow-Institut from 1997 until 2005 in different projects about changes in media production and about the development of jobs in the media, especially against the background of digitalisation and the development of electronic media. For her PhD thesis in communication studies she did a study on communication work in online media.
