Dr. Jonas Rieger

Dr. Jonas Rieger

Jonas Rieger is working in the project "Few-Shot Learning for Automated Content Analysis in Communication Science (FLACA)" under the direction of Dr. Gregor Wiedemann at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans Bredow Institute (HBI) since October 2022.

He studied and received his doctorate in Statistics at the TU Dortmund University (Prof. Carsten Jentsch & Prof. Jörg Rahnenführer). His methodological contributions regarding the latent Dirichlet allocation are summarized in his dissertation "Reliability evaluation and an update algorithm for the latent Dirichlet allocation" (https://doi.org/10.17877/DE290R-22949).

After finishing his doctorate, he is now working as a postdoc in the project "German-Austrian Digital Media Observatory (GADMO)" at the TU Dortmund University (https://lwus.statistik.tu-dortmund.de/en/chair/team/rieger/) in addition to his position at the HBI.
