Florian Wittner has been a junior researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research │ Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI) in the project "Information Governance Technologies
" since October 2017. His interests lie in private and public media law.
Florian Wittner studied law with a focus on intellectual property at the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg and the National and Kapodistrias University of Athens. He successfully defended his dissertation on 30 July 2021 on the topic of "Die datenschutzrechtlichen Verantwortlichkeit im Kontext der verteilten Verarbeitungsrealität – Versuch einer Weiterentwicklung und Neukonzeption [Data Protection Accountability in the Context of Distributed Processing Reality - Attempt of a Further Development and New Concept]" (summa cum laude).
