Annika Höft worked at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI) from July 2020 until May 2021, where she supported Christiane Matzen and her team for science communication in the areas of research transfer and event planning.
She war particularly responsible for the transfer activities of the
Forschungsinstitut Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt (FGZ; Research
Institute Social Cohesion).
Before joining the HBI, Annika Höft worked in the press office of a Fraunhofer Institute. There she acquired a master's degree at the Technical University of Berlin via the distance-learning course "Science Marketing."
She completed her Bachelor's degree in 2016 at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena specialising in communication science and human geography. Prior to that, she completed a vocational training as hotel manageress at the former InterContinental Hotel Hamburg.
