Since August 2019, Louise Sprengelmeyer has been working as a junior researcher in
research programme 1 "Transformation of Public Communication: Journalistic and Intermediary Functions in the Process of Opinion Formation". She is particularly involved in the changing relationship between journalists and their audience. Her research interests lie in the transformation of journalism in times of profound mediatization and datafication.
Louise Sprengelmeyer studied journalism and communication science in Hamburg. During her studies, she also worked as a student assistant at the Institute with
Prof. Dr. Wiebke Loosen and as a student assistant at Universität Hamburg with Prof. Dr. Michael Brüggemann.
