Students with a focus on Media Law as well as European and International Law have the opportunity to participate in an international summer school on “Law, Internet and Democracy” being held from 25 to 31 March in Delhi, India.
The summer school brings together a diverse group of scholars and students from Germany, India and Brazil for an intensive week of lectures, discussions and interactive learning exercises. It offers participants a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts on an emerging legal issue.
The academic program will take place from March 25 until March 31 and is accompanied by various extracurricular events, such as a visit to the Supreme Court and the Taj Mahal. Students are expected to read introductory texts, participate in group activities and in general contribute proactively to the school’s agenda.
Costs for accommodation, catering and local excursions are fully covered; travel expenses (flights, visa, and airport transfers) are partly covered (specific amount to be announced later).
For application, please hand in your CV as well as a short letter of motivation (max. 1 page) via email (pdf-file) to Matthias Klatt
until 15 February 2019. Applicants are welcome to support their application with further proof of skills relevant to the event.
