Platform Regulation and Democracies

This year's media law summer school in Delhi, India, co-organized by the HBI, is dedicated to the topic "Platform Regulation and Democracies - Beyond Digital India Act, Marco Civil and DSA".
 
The Summer School brings together students and lecturers from Germany, India, and Brazil for an intensive week of lectures, discussions, and interactive learning tasks. Participants will learn from leading experts and present their own research topics in presentations. The academic program is accompanied by various excursions.
 
The Summer School is organized by the HBI, the Faculty of Law of the University of Hamburg (UNESCO Chair on Freedom of Communication), the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG), the Centre for Communication Governance (CCG) of the National Law University Delhi (NLUD) as well as the Institute for Technology & Society of Rio de Janeiro (ITS Rio) and the Global Network of Internet & Society Research Centers (NoC).
 
The Summer School is sponsored by Stiftung Mercator.
