Wähler oder Verbraucher – zweierlei Maß?

The current debate about Facebook and Cambridge Analytica focuses on the fundamental position of the citizen in the formation of public opinion. The citizen becomes the target of political and non-political advertisement if the data that is collected by a social network is completely analysed. Is microtargeting constitutionally permissible only for certain purposes? Is it possible to award different levels of protection to the holder of fundamental rights as a consumer and a voter?
