Herwig Mitter as Guest Researcher at the Institute

Fom October until December 2019, Mag. Herwig Mitter from the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Vienna will investigate how media freedom within the ECHR relates to Internet intermediaries, in particular whether and to what extent they are protected or obliged by them.

In his dissertation project, he is researching to what extent mass media pluralism is guaranteed in Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and in Austrian Constitutional Law.
