Vernetzt gut aufwachsen und leben – Stolpersteine und Stützräder im digitalen Raum

On the occasion of "Safer Internet Day", Kira Thiel will talk about the use and importance of the internet for children and young people in an online workshop organised by the Association of the Internet Industry (eco).

About the Event
It is not only in the recent past and present that a considerable part of growing up and living takes place in the digital space as a matter of course. After all, we are "always online" and can meet the most diverse needs on the internet. How and for what do children and young people use the internet? What significance does it have for their lives? And who sets what limits?

In this workshop, the eco Complaints Office, the Crime Prevention Office and the State Prevention Office against Violence and Cyber Violence in Schools in North Rhine-Westphalia, together with other network partners, will answer these and other questions in a practical and interactive way and inform participants about risks in the digital space and ways to minimise them.
The workshop is aimed at older adolescents, parents, teachers, educators and interested internet users.

The event begins at 1 p.m.
