In her presentation "Keine Angst vor Filterblasen! Praktiken und Prinzipien der Nachrichtennutzung auf Social Media [Don't Be Afraid of Filter Bubbles! Practices and Principles of News Usage on Social Media]“ Lisa Merten, among other things, why the risk of echo chambers and filter bubbles for a free formation of opinion is not as great as it is often described.
