Die Digitalisierung verändert alles – auch unsere ästhetische Praxis?

Digitisation is making its way into institutions such as museums and theatres. At the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt, Matthias C. Kettemann, Verena Kuni (Goethe University Frankfurt on the Main), Kay Voges (Schauspiel Dortmund) and Grit Weber (Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt) discuss what this means for aesthetic practice. Among others, the following questions will be addressed: How does the digital transformation affect the content formats of cultural institutions as well as their exhibition and staging practices? How much digitalisation does a theatre or museum need and how much can it tolerate? And what educational and mediation work must accompany the rise of digital media?

The event is part of the discussion series “Blickwechsel – Zukunft gestalten [Change of Perspective - Shaping the Future].” Experts discuss these topics of sustainable development with the audience.

The general admission fee to the panel discussion is 5 euro, reduced admission is 3,50 euro.
The event begins at 7 p.m.
